Man with a tail- Hanuman’s incarnation

New Delhi: A man in West Bengal is being seen as an incarnation of Hindu deity Hanuman by followers after the discovery that he has a tail just like the mythological character in Ramayana. Chandre Oraon, a resident of Alipurduar, has the tail since birth that has now grown close to 15 inches in length, according to a report in the Mirror. People also believe that the 35-year-old’s ability to climb trees, swiftly like a monkey, is further proof of him being an incarnation. Followers are lining up in queues in his makeshift temple at his house to seek his blessings by touching his tail. The doctors have termed the hairy growth as a rare congenital defect but Oraon has vehemently opposed its removal.    He adds that once during his childhood his mother cut the tail off and he fell very ill and decided to keep it thereafter.
